100,000 US Dollars donated to community gardens from around the country with Fiskars’ Project Orange thumb. Together, Nick and Fiskars are working with four community gardens across the country to help allow each garden to continue their amazing work with addressing food insecurity in local communities.
20,000 US Dollars donated to Earthjustice who wield the power of law and the strength of partnership to protect people’s health, to preserve magnificent places and wildlife, to advance clean energy, and to combat climate change.
Nick and his community volunteer with local community gardens and organizations to grow food for food insecure neighbors and teach ways to protect the environment through gardening. Follow @FarmerNick for more info.
As an advisor for Lettuce Grow, Nick has helped donate over 75 farm stands to community gardens, schools and other nonprofits to sustainably grow healthy and nutritious food.
As an advisor for Tomorrow Farms, Nick works daily to promote and bring awareness to the distribution of animal-free dairy milk to combat the dairy industry and factory farming.
